Weekly Level Meetings: Every other week junior and mid-level team members are invited to meet (in person and via video conference) with their peers and our CEO. Two weeks a month are devoted to theoretical skill development, while the alternate weeks involve bringing a pitch or press release to the meeting to get feedback on how to better assist the media.
The Business of the Business: Every other week junior level team members are invited to join a video conference lead by our CEO to discuss topics related to public relations agency business. Topics are geared towards different levels and focus on everything from “what to expect on your first business trip” to “how to turn a lead into a new business opportunity.”
Journalist Roundtables: As the state of journalism continues to evolve, we bring in journalists to meet with staff in each of our offices to share the content they are looking for (both topic and format), tips when pitching them, when they preferred to be contacted etc.
Management Matters: Management Matters is a series specifically for team members who are Account Directors and above to have the opportunity to meet with our CEO to discuss account strategy, people management and questions about our industry.
Corner Table: Each Friday, our CEO takes team members for an informal lunch to talk about the public relations industry and where it is headed, as well as their personal development in the organization.
Steinreich University: Sessions led by senior management and noted industry veterans on how to manage teams in different regions, navigating client relationships and how to turn new business leads into wins. We bring in two well regarded former industry executives to serve as coaches to both our junior and senior staff. One is the former CEO of a Top Five agency and the other is a former COO of the leading mid-sized agency in the country. The other is a former senior partner at one of the nation’s leading firms.
