Steinreich Communications Group, an international public relations firm, has been appointed public relations consultant to the Israel Healthcare Foundation, the American fundraising subsidiary of Clalit Health Services, focusing its efforts on representing the organization to the international media.
Clalit Health Services was established in Israel in 1911 and serves more than 4.3 million people annually, providing them with primary, secondary and tertiary care. It is the longest operating public general health organization in the world with 14 hospitals and 1,400 clinics that treat more than 100 million patient encounters, 2 million visits to outpatient clinics and 120,000 surgeries each year. The network provides for all Israelis, regardless of religion, race, financial position and ethnicity.
“This is an exciting opportunity for our teams throughout the world to help one of the most innovative healthcare providers harness its innovation and public service and tell its story to current and future supporters,” said Steinreich Communications President and CEO Stan Steinreich. “The Israel Healthcare Foundation’s current special projects will allow for the continuation of the best medical care in the region while the country is under attack from neighboring extremist groups as well as the addition of specialty centers to Clalit’s already vast network.”
Steinreich Communications offices in Israel and New York are jointly working on the assignment.
